Terms of Service

SoilCredit provides online tools for land information, illustrative carbon estimates, land listings, and related marketplace records. Available features can change over time.

You must be legally able to use the service in your jurisdiction. Provide accurate registration information, verify your email, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.

Do not use the platform unlawfully, misrepresent your identity or authority over land, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful material, or submit information that violates another person’s rights. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect users or the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of land descriptions, locations, coordinates, documents, and images you submit, and for having permission to share them. A public listing may display land information and submitted images to other visitors. You must keep listing details and sale settings current.

Carbon and income figures produced by the calculator or other automated tools are estimates based on the information available and selected assumptions. They are informational only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are not professional, scientific, legal, tax, or investment advice.

An estimate or platform record does not by itself create a carbon credit and is not proof of independent verification, certification, issuance, ownership, or eligibility under any carbon standard. SoilCredit does not guarantee that land or estimated reductions will qualify as credits, be accepted by a registry or buyer, or generate revenue. No financial return is guaranteed. Obtain independent assessment and applicable approvals before relying on a claim.

The platform currently supports land listings, purchase records, and updates to listing credit quantities. Payment processing is not enabled in the application. A purchase record is not evidence that payment was settled, that a carbon credit was independently verified or transferred, or that a buyer acquired a verified environmental claim. Users must independently agree and comply with any separate transaction terms and applicable law.

The SoilCredit name, branding, software, and site content are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. Subject to these terms, you may use the service for its intended purposes. You retain rights in content you submit and permit us to use it as reasonably necessary to operate and display the features you choose, including public listings.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided without guarantees that estimates, data, listings, or service results will meet your requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted on this page. Continued use after revised terms are posted means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
